This thing started out titled “Don’t You Run Around Baby”, you know, the old: “you better not run around on me woman, I ain’t gonna put up with you bein’ with no other man” approach. However, it was rewritten due to one of my co-producer Steve’s rules of songwriting: “You have to say something positive. People don’t want to hear all the “you done me wrong” negative stuff. So I re-wrote the song with a positive spin.
